Avengers reassembled

Saga Synopsis

Re-Launch

If You’ve Made It Here

You’re in the right place.

Identity Saga is a fan-made narrative project built for anyone who still carries the early MCU in their veins—Avengers loyalty, Spider-Man heart, and that unmistakable Irondad ache that never really leaves, no matter how many years pass.

This site is being built piece by piece. Some doors will lead you forward; some are still locked while I finish wiring the story together.

If you’re new, start with Identity Theft (Part I) .
If you’ve been here before— welcome home. Thank you for your patience, your time, and the way you keep showing up for these characters.

More is coming soon: pages, chapters, extras. Until then, if you’d like to revisit the start, rediscover old scenes that have been lovingly refined, or simply celebrate how far we’ve come since page one… the doors are open.

Why This Story Exists at All

I started writing this saga to scratch a lifelong, wildly impractical dream of being a comic book writer.

I can’t draw stick figures. My ability to summarize plots is painfully nonexistent (as evidenced by the word count.) But in trying to find a new way to express my love for superheroes, I discovered something important:

I never needed permission.
I never needed Marvel.
I could just do it myself.

And it's been a blast doing it.

That said, the Identity Saga is not perfect. It doesn’t matter how many edits this story goes through, how many tweaks are made or sentences are adjusted—there will always be flaws.

And one day—sooner than later—I will be stepping away from this work completely, leaving it on the shelf in its final form.

While this site has given me room to experiment creatively—with dialogue boxes, layout effects, and visual presentation—I have always respected the story for what it was at its origin. The Identity Saga will never suffer from George Lucas syndrome.

  • Text message images remain untouched.
  • Original banner artwork remains accessible.
  • New banners were made by reopening the same files and gently refining them.

Your girl does not have the time to George Lucas this project, trust me.

No lines have been rewritten. No scenes have been “fixed.” Not even the ones that still itch at me. This story will always have imperfections, some of them will haunt me forever.

But it's flawed, it will be finished, and it's treasured.

A Living Archive

Because this site serves as a long-term archive, small corrections will happen over time.

If you spot a typo or formatting error, you’re welcome to email JenPaton92@gmail.com with a screenshot of what you’ve found.

No promises on speed—but over time, those small fixes will be folded in quietly. Think of it as caretaking, not revision.

This is the final time I’ll be going through these stories.
My time to say goodbye is approaching, and knowing that absolutely none of this would've ever happened if it weren't for readers like yourself, I'm downright emotional to open this website for the series. I hope the HTML survives over time.

Thank you for the years of patience, excitement, and passion. I can’t wait to share the finale on a platform truly worthy of the universe we’ve unfolded together.

Welcome home.
