Woven Webs
Autumn had settled heavily across fields of open land, long stretches of grass disappearing into thinning woods beneath a scattered canopy of amber and brown. The season had begun to strip the landscape of its color, leaving the distant trees thinner against a sky packed with gray as the wind moved freely through the exposed branches.
